Felix likes to collect World paper currency first and foremost, but also has an abiding interest in Ancient Coins and US gold & silver coins (dollar coins, mostly). He has been collecting since he was 4 years old!
Born in France in the shadow of an ancient Roman aqueduct (near Chaumont, in the Haute Marne), he became a full-fledged Citizen when he was 18 and arrived in Washington State in 1980, where he has been happily married since 1990. He speaks three languages fluently (English, French and German), and is working on Russian, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese.
When asked about Coin Collecting, he says: "I am just paying for the right to be the Custodian of History, until I can find somebody to take over for me!!!"
His other interests include: dabbling in Astronomy and some of the other Sciences, nature-hikes and visiting Museums ("for the History, you know!")
